Tidepool – Wednesday with Michael
Hello Everyone!
I hope you are all having a nice week despite the cold weather.

Today, we enjoyed another lovely sunset at the start of our lesson.
We also searched the trees forbirds with our binoculars.

Then we put netting around our cabbage plants that we planted a few weeks ago.
We noticed that rabbits have been eating our cabbage plants and we need to take measures to keep them out.
Squirrels will also be eating our plants soon so it is important to plan ahead.
First we brought bamboo to the farm and cut them into shorter peices.

Then we pounded them into the ground and layed the large netting over them.  We hope the smart animals don't find a way in so we can enjoy Sprincabbages!!!

We also brought home the dried daikon from last week.
I hope you can enjoy them with your child.

Have a great week!

Michael
