「うみやま葉山」とのコラボレーションで、「葉山 流域ウォーク」を2026年1月24日（土）10:00〜13:00に開催します。
今年は、うみやまはやまさんとともに、学校向けの自然探究やRoots & Shootsの活動を重ねてきました。本イベントはその取り組みをさらに広げ、山から川へと歩きながら、里山・里海のつながりを体感し、学ぶプログラムです。
自然の中を歩きながら学びたい方であれば、どなたでもご参加いただけます。

ジェーンのレガシーをつなぎながら積み重ねてきた、まだお届けできていない活動情報もたくさんあります。来年はそれらも含めて、Roots & Shootsのさまざまな取り組みを、みなさんと共有していきます。

As we enter the holiday season, we hope this message finds you well and that the end of the year brings you warmth, reflection, and beauty.
For our final newsletter of the year, we would like to share information about an event taking place in January 2026.
In collaboration with Umiyama Hayama, we will be hosting the Hayama Watershed Walk on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00.
Throughout this year, we have worked closely with Umiyama Hayama on nature exploration and Roots & Shoots activities for schools. Building on these experiences, this event invites participants to walk from the mountains to the river, experiencing firsthand the connections between satoyama and satoumi, and learning about the natural watershed.
This program is open to anyone who is interested in learning through walking and spending time in nature.

Even though Jane is no longer with us physically, I feel very strongly that we will live up to her legacy and honor the commitments we made there: to keep working for animals, for people, and for the planet. That responsibility stays with us, and it also unites us.
As we carry forward Jane’s legacy, there are many activities and efforts from this past year that we have not yet had the chance to share.
In the coming year, we look forward to sharing these, along with many more Roots & Shoots initiatives, with all of you.
